So my family and I haven’t quite gotten used to Medio Dia (you know… when all of Spain pretty much shuts down so everyone can eat and take a nap). Don’t get me wrong, I love naps and I love food, but when we’re wondering through Barcelona or other cities and everything closes at 2pm… it gets a little difficult. When we walked into this particular cathedral in Lleida, they informed us that we could only stay for 30 mins; it didn’t seem like too much of a problem at first buuut (no surprise here!) we ended up being the last people to leave! I know, we’re terrible BUT it was a gorgeous cathedral!! I think that exploring the infinite amount of cathedrals in Europe is one of my favorite parts of living in Spain. They are all so gorgeous!! Truthfully, the reason we were the last people to exit was because we waited for everyone to leave so we could sing Christmas songs and listen to our voices reverberate… It’s a guilty pleasure of ours:)

I couldn’t get used to that either – it was so weird for me in Tuscany, when a lot of restaurants were closed between lunch and dinner, that just doesn’t happen here. :) Great photos!
