What’s the greatest advantage of living in a different country? We’re tourists during off season! The cities we stopped by yesterday were practically deserted, which meant there was no need to wait for the photo bomber to pass by or to stand farther to the left to avoid the other people posing for their own pictures. I love it when the cities are desolate. It feels so peaceful to walk around quietly admiring the beauty.
This is Silas. He’s my best pal. He’s also possibly one of the most annoying people I know. He’s taken to beat boxing and no matter how many times you ask him to “please be quiet,” he simply replies that his “mind and body won’t let him.” However, I am more clever than my little friend. When his beat boxing and chattering became too much to handle in that cramped car of ours, I told him we should practice mouthing our words to each other and pretend we’re mute (he would roll his eyes and say he’s not a baby if I said we should play the quiet game). I am mighty sly: every time we left the car and got back in, he’d remind me that we had to play the “new” game. BAHAHA if only he knew.
I wish you a happy weekend (filled with peace and quiet).
